Rotary Requirements

What is Rotary?

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Position Requirements

Prospective members must actively hold, or be retired from, a professional, proprietary, executive or managerial position.

Prospective members must have the desire and ability to serve through actively participing in club projects and to meet the club’s attendance requirements for its weekly meetings.

Attendance Requirements

Members, to be in good standing, must attend 60% of all weekly meetings.  If the member must miss a meeting, they are encouraged to “make-up” the missed meeting by attending another Rotary club meeting within 14 days, before or after the meeting missed.

“Make-ups” can be accomplished on-line as well.

Financial Requirements

A one time initiation fee of $50 is due before joining the Rotary Club of St. Matthews.

Annual dues are billed as follows:

Club Dues		$50.00		Each January & July
International Dues		$24.50		Each January & July
District 6710 Dues		$15.00		Each July

Luncheon meals are billed in advance as follows:
